130 Years

It's been 130 years since a member of a sitting administration has been indicted while in office. Why was this man indicted? He is accused of lying to the Grand Jury. What effect did those alleged lies have? It delayed an investigation into the exposure of a CIA agent. Does this mean that the prosecutor found no wrong doing by the administration? No, what it found was a special assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to the Vice President who is alleged to have found it more expeditious to obstruct a federal investigation into the exposure of a CIA agent than to tell the truth.

Patrick Fitzgerald has not spoken his final words on this situation and because he hasn't the White House is nervous. Expect more smoke and mirrors from them and the corporate press. Also expect that Mr. Fitzgerald will be holding another press conference down the road and it won't be as pretty as Friday's.
