Backyard

There was a palm tree in the backyard that was way too close to the pool. It's bothered me since I moved in last July so today it came down. Here's the tree as it's about to come down.
And the removal process ending with no palm threatening my pool anymore.

I've never been a fan of killing trees so this was very hard to watch. In the end the reason it came down is my concern for the pool. It was also unnerving to watch as dead fronds came crashing down in wind storms, something we have a lot of in the desert. At least now it won't be a concern come monsoon.
