Dubya and his posse trash the theonuts behind their backs. We are not surprised. Do they feel betrayed? Is the religious right?
The office of the Right Reverend Revson Eeled.
Rev. Eeled sits in his favorite chair head in his hands.
‘I trusted him the most,’ he whispers.
‘Remember the fags,’ says a voice.
‘He betrayed us,’ moans Rev. Eeled lifting his eyes to the ceiling.
‘Remember the illegals,’ the voice intones.
‘He thinks we’re nuts,’ Eeled cries rising up.
‘Remember the unborn.’
‘We’ve been played!’
Silence.
Eeled is exhausted. He reaches over to turn off the radio, but finds it’s not on.
‘I must get some sleep,’ he mumbles, ‘I’m hearing voices.’ He shuffles across the room towards the door. and hears, ‘BUT HE LOVES YOU!’
Eeled shakes his head and goes off to bed, ‘At least we have the school board,’ he thinks.
